The Federal Government has unveiled a 5-billion Naira palliative package for each state and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) in response to the removal of fuel subsidy.
Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno State disclosed this during an interactive session with State House correspondents in Abuja on Thursday.
Following the National Economic Council (NEC) meeting, presided over by Vice-President Kashim Shettima, Governor Zulum highlighted key points discussed, including the additional support for states bordering Niger Republic due to the influx of refugees stemming from the ongoing crisis in the neighboring country.
